Fangirl?

I'm a fangirl, I don't need anyone to tell me that. I have been one ever since I read the first Harry Potter book when I was 11.

I have since been a fan of several things, and only some of them are still in my life. (Dragonball is one of the "lost" ones, lol)

It's been a while since I entered a fandom that was not one of my old ones or some band or other.

Now though, I've done what many Harry Potter fans have done. Read the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer, and loved it. It's made of awesomeness! It's always being compared to Harry Potter, for the reason that it has accomplished many similar things. Such as getting young people to read, ensnaring so many and it's now going to be a major motion picture (premieres nov. 21st, accidentaly the old release date for HP6)

But, other than the fans of the books, the Twilight story is completely different. An action packed romance novel series between an 18-year old human, Bella Swan, and a vampire. Edward Cullen, who incidentally is gorgeus. (Or not so incidentally, as vampires are unnaturaly beautiful).
There are many vampire books out there, but this one is completely original. It's different, in a very good way. You don't have to be a fan of vampires to like it (although it helps^^;).
It has ensared me completely, that's for sure! I went and bought the 4th and last book, Breaking Dawn, today. At page 30, I love it already. It's wonderful to find a book that's able to capture my attention the same way Harry Potter has done.

Read it! ^^

I wonder why...

...it is that even if I am dead tired from the moment I get home from work, I seem unable to go to bed early. Ever. Because I could have gone to sleep at 6pm and slept through the night, but here I am, wasting time and precious sleep on the computer...hm...
